Finding true love may be as simple as a mouse click away, but, don't rely on cyberspace to heal all of your dating woes. Take the time to explore other options, and remember, finding true love sometimes takes time.

Finding True Love: Not Impossible

Finding true love is sometimes as hard as finding the perfect pair of jeans. You search from one brand to another looking for the perfect color, size and fit. Brand X fits in the waist, but is too tight in the legs, brand Y has the perfect style, but rides too low on the waist. You get the point, and, although it may be rudimentary, it is a good analogy to finding true love.

No two bodies are alike. You might take this same idea and apply it to love. What one person may find ideal, another may find to be offensive. Start with an understanding of what you truly want in a mate. Sometimes opposites attract and are perfect for a heated discussion on movies or literature. However, for those with strong political opinions, the heated debates can be the road to ruin.

Have faith.

Take, for example, the interesting pairing of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver. Arnold professes his agreement to the policies of the Republican party while Maria comes from a long line of staunch Democrats. It all lies in the balance of the relationship. It is sometimes better to agree to disagree.

It can be easily surmised that Arnold and Maria didn't consider politics when they discovered they had a unique connection. Finding true love is never all black or all white. There is a grey area in between that melds our personalities with those that we choose to love.

Take the time to make a list of traits and characteristics that you find mandatory in your search for finding true love. Then, make a second list of things that are maybe's in your search. Finally, compile a list of the things that make up a definite no for your tastes. It's okay to express your preferences. In the long run, you can avoid relationship problems if you are honest to yourself and the people you meet.

As with anything, establish ground rules and be realistic in your definition of true love . The game of love has been played for centuries and centuries. It requires patience and a willingness to accept the learning curve that accompanies every thing worth fighting for. Do your homework and think with an open mind. Finding true love may be just around the corner.
